An earthquake in Connecticut?

This afternoon as I finally poured my first coffee of the day, the cup began to shake. Now, from beneath the rubble, three profound thoughts resonate through my mind: (1) despite what my kids think, I’m too young to die; (2) while I’m trapped under here, the rest of the world goes about squashing dictators without me; and (3) somewhere amidst the chaos and debris, my coffee is getting really, really cold.

The barber shop did it.

“Hey Tyler, remember how I told you to practice cutting only on paper?”

“Yes.”

“Well, why is there a bald spot on the side of your head?”

“I don’t know.”

“Who cut your hair?”

“Eva.”

“Who really cut your hair?”

(Eyes shifting left to right)  “I think the barber shop did it.”

The “barber shop”:  Regis Corp., the largest hair salon chain in the world.

They figure it out early: big business is always to blame.
