The best part of being a homeowner is watching all your hard work pay off…as with this compost pile, which we began two years ago to help fertilize the garden.

There’s nothing like a heap of rotten fruit and vegetable peels, eggshells and coffee grounds to satisfy a case of between-hibernation munchies.

After Rosie the Dog consumed an entire bottle of cat vitamins in one sitting, the vet advised me to give her plenty of fluids and continual access to the great outdoors.

As for the dog’s newly acquired superiority complex, Dr. Potter had nothin’.
