Anna turns one this weekend, meaning tomorrow is officially her last day of formula. That’s three kids off formula and two off diapers with one to go.
Thirteen thousand ounces of formula, two thousand diapers and some hundred odd pull-ups later, it is a wonder how quickly time went by.
And how quickly I’ve aged over the past half decade.
And now, onto the Depends!
Today I made the eerie discovery that, despite a twenty-year hiatus from Three’s Company, I can still quote each punch line mircoseconds before it leaves John Ritter’s mouth. Which begs the question, why does my amazing memory kick in during Nick at Nite, but went AWOL during every exam in ECON 101?
…I finally got around to flipping the calendar to March. For the next three days, I will be at the top of my game. Who knows? Maybe I’ll get motivated to flip to April before taxes are due.
Speaking of which, tax day has been extended this year to April 18. Thank you IRS! You’re getting warmer…
Today I looked up “flyer” in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary and found, “What made you want to look up ‘flyer’? Please tell us where you read or heard it (including the quote, if possible).”
I’ve used dictionaries that were unhelpful, but this is the first to question my motives.
I decided I’m going to write my own dictionary. Next to each entry I’ll write, “You talkin’ to me?” and “Who wants to know?”
