On the road again (and again, and again)

8:45 a.m.:   Stuff all three kids in van, drive Eva to junior pre-K, bring other two back home.

9:45 a.m.:   Put Anna back in van, drive Tyler to playgroup.

11:15 a.m.: Drive Tyler from playgroup to afternoon pre-K.

12 noon:     Pick up Eva; bring both girls back home.

2:00 p.m.:  Pack both girls back in van, pick Tyler up from school, bring everyone home again.

2:15 p.m.:   Slash my own tires so I’ll never have to drive another mile again.

2:30 p.m.:   Ask the children what they want to do next.

Their response:  “Let’s play in the van!”

Brand new addition!

It is with great joy that I announce we are expecting a little addition this fall!

It will include a brand new master bed and bath, an office and storage space right above our garage. We couldn’t be more excited!

Oh, and here’s a picture of Anna’s last ultrasound.

You didn’t think I’d be transparent enough to observe April Fool’s Day on April 1, did you?

What made Doug’s night:

…Placing a skull on top of his new python snakeskin-covered Clarion amplifier and watching the red LED lights pore through its nose, mouth and eye sockets.

What made my night: when Eva took one look at the skull and cried, “It’s Daddy!”
